Final Day of Outdoor Activities

Sunday October 27 is our Orange Crush and First Responder Event, which has a literal ton of activities to help cap off our 2024 Outdoor Activity season. Here’s what we have lined up for you.

• Trick or Treating from 10am – 1pm. We are encouraging only family-friendly costumes. If you’re not sure if that applies to your costume, that means you probably shouldn’t wear it 🙂
• Wheels of Freedom Monster Truck (starting around 10:30am) They will offer rides for $10 per person which is separate from your Activity wristband fee. They do accept cash and credit cards.
• All farm Activities and Food venues will be open from 10am – 4pm. The Harvest Brew Coffee & Retail Shop will remain open until 6pm, along with our outdoor checkout for produce and pumpkins.
• Smashing Pumpkins begins at 2pm. We provide the mallet, you provide the muscle. And we’ll even throw in the pumpkin, if you can pick it up.
• Sky Crane Pumpkin & Candy Drop begins around 3:30pm. We’re dropping pumpkins from 80 ft high onto a car. See what kind of damage a falling pumpkin can do to an automobile. At the end of that event, we’ll take a large pumpkin that we’ve stuffed full of candy and drop it from the crane as well. It’s glorious!
• Free Apples Blasters. Yes, we’re giving you up to 25 apples to shoot from our Apple Blasters for free. Available from 10am-3:30pm.

First Responders, please bring a valid ID on Sunday.
We want to recognize and support our first responders by offering them free admission to our activities area at the farm on Sunday, October 27.
A first responder is a professional who has specialized training and is among the first to arrive at an emergency to provide assistance. First responders include firefighters, police officers, paramedics, EMTs, search and rescue members, and public safety communicators like 911 dispatchers.
