Come check out our A-MAZING corn maze! Rader Family Farms is proud to partner with Beck’s Hybrids and Precision Planting in 2024 to design and grow another challenging, interactive and fun corn maze.

Beck’s Hybrids is the largest family-owned retail seed company in the United States. More importantly, Beck’s is committed to honor God by maintaining their relationships with integrity and honesty in all they do.

We plant Beck’s Hybrids seed corn in early June using GPS technology of our partner, Precision Planting, that allows seeds to be planted within half an inch of the exact spot where we want them. The planter crosses the field a second time so the maze is more dense than a typical corn field. After planting, we add two bridges that allow you to climb and adjust your internal GPS or just enjoy a spectacular view of the maze and grounds.

At Rader Family Farms, we’re proud to join hands with Heartland Community College in celebrating the launch of the new Heartland Ag Complex and our 2024 inspiration for this years maze design. Agriculture holds a special place in the heart of Illinois, and this collaboration marks a significant milestone in our shared commitment to honoring and advancing this vital industry. *See below for more on Heartland and our partnership.

New this year: Follow your location in the maze on your phone

Scan the QR code outside the maze to access a map of the maze. Share your location and the map will show a blue dot that follows where you are as you move through the maze.

Though it’s a large maze, it’s in two phases, and you can do one or both phases using the provided maze map. It typically takes people about 20 minutes to complete Phase 1 and about 40 minutes to complete Phase 2, but take time to enjoy the fall experience! There are multiple checkpoints within each phase.

3 (non-scary) night mazes — Sept. 21, Oct. 12 and Oct. 26

What you need to know about our night mazes:
Hours are 6:30 to 9 p.m., with the last entrance to the maze at 8 p.m.
Admission is $10 for ages 5 yrs. and up. Season passes are not valid for this special event.
Night maze admission may be sold at the farm starting at 6:20 p.m. Groups are welcome.
Anyone 14 years and younger must be accompanied by a paid adult (age 18 years+) in the corn maze and while on the farm.
Areas open: Outdoor access to Harvest Brew Coffee Shop and Sidekick food menus
Bonfires and S’mores (weather permitting). Other farm activities will be closed.
Bring a flashlight!
No backpacks, large purses or other containers are allowed in the maze.
No smoking (including e-cigarettes and vaping) is permitted on the farm.

Our past mazes

Check out how our maze has changed over the years. We strive to keep our tillable ground healthy and producing at peak yields and that requires crop rotation. That can be challenging when the maze acres are surrounded by the other parts of the farm.
